Color and Cut

 

I am in need of a new camera! I was taking pictures yesterday afternoon and the are all grainy images, so bear with me as I show you my awesome new hair. We have had the camera for at least 5 years. So when you see my picture you can't see the pretty new color!!  It looks even better in person than in the picture.  It has been a year or so since I have been to the hair dressers and it was time!  Normally I cut my own hair for a trim or to cut some bangs, but there is something about the hair dressers.  My hair always feels a little more healthy. My normal hair dresser was due to have her baby soon and she is 35 minutes away, so i called a new Salon near us.  My sister had just gotten her hair done at Benedettos and I really thought the girl did a nice job on her hair.  I called yesterday and got an appointment today.  I was so excited! My mom, sister and I did a conference call {ha ha}over the phone looking through my pinterest board {Laura Cheek} of the cuts and colors I pinned. We made a consensus  that we liked Mandy Moore's cut and Alyson Hannigan's color. I took my pictures of the cut and color I wanted while my wonderful mother watched my children today.

The color she did was a Red-Violet. She did a color and glaze and I love it, If I haven't mentioned it yet.  I asked her to cut everything an inch longer than the picture and she did a great job. She used her thinning shears for the layers and regular shears for my bangs and tips.  My camera did not pick up the red in the picture, but when I get a good picture I am posting it.  I absolutely love it!
